Ayman Mohyeldin to Host Red Carpet and Post-Dinner Coverage

After a two-year hiatus, the White House Correspondents' Dinner (WHCD) is back. The event, which is traditionally attended by the President of the United States, will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

Web coverage of the red carpet arrivals starts at 6 pm ET. For those who can't make it in person, the WHCD will be broadcast live on several outlets and online beginning at 8 pm ET. Weekend evening anchor Ayman Mohyeldin will be on the red carpet starting at 7 pm ET and will continue coverage from 8-11 pm ET.

President Joe Biden is expected to attend the dinner and give remarks. This will be the first time a president has attended the WHCD since 2016.

The WHCD is an annual event that brings together journalists, politicians, and celebrities. The event is known for its humor and camaraderie, and it is often a source of political satire.
