Colorado Native to Take Flight with Blue Angels
Colorado Springs, Colorado – The United States Navy Blue Angels will make their first-ever performance at the Pikes Peak Regional Air Show, bringing their thrilling aerial acrobatics to the skies of Colorado Springs.
Two Colorado natives, Connor O'Donnell and Daniel Hunker, will be among the pilots flying with the Blue Angels during the air show. O'Donnell, a graduate of Colorado College, will pilot the Blue Angel No. 7.
- The Blue Angels are an elite flight demonstration squadron of the U.S. Navy.
- The team consists of six F/A-18 Hornets and one C-130 Hercules transport aircraft.
- The Blue Angels perform precision aerial maneuvers at air shows and events around the world.
