Take-Two and Rockstar Reiterate GTA 6 Release for Fall 2025
Long-Awaited Sequel Finally Set for Release
After years of anticipation, Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games have reaffirmed the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) for fall 2025.
The announcement was made during Take-Two's recent earnings call, where CEO Strauss Zelnick stated, "We are looking forward to bringing GTA 6 to the public in fiscal 2024, which is our next fiscal year." This is consistent with previous reports that placed the game's release in late 2024 or early 2025.
Details and Rumors
While specific details about GTA 6 remain scarce, rumors and leaks have hinted at various features and settings. The game is reportedly set in a fictionalized version of Miami, known as "Vice City," and will feature a female protagonist for the first time in the series.
Other rumored features include an expanded map, improved graphics, and enhanced gameplay mechanics. Rockstar has also confirmed that GTA 6 will be "the biggest and most ambitious" game in the series' history.
