Serbien Vs Slowenien

WEB Serbia substitute Luka Jovic headed a last-gasp equaliser to salvage a 1-1 draw in Slovenia

Slovenia's current form is actually pretty good. In all competitions they have lost just two.

Serbia substitute Luka Jovic headed a last-gasp equaliser to cancel out Zan Karnicnik's opener and earn a 1-1 draw in Slovenia in their Euro 2024 Group B qualifier on Saturday.

Slovenia vs Serbia is the first of today's three Euro 2024 matches. That means it will start at 3pm local time.

Slovenia took the lead in the 28th minute when Karnicnik headed home a cross from the right flank. Serbia pressed for an equaliser and Jovic finally found it in the 96th minute, heading in a cross from the left.

The result leaves Slovenia top of the group with four points from two games, while Serbia are second with three points from two games.

Conclusion

Serbia's late equaliser will give them confidence going into their next game against Norway on Tuesday. Slovenia, meanwhile, will be disappointed not to have held on for the win, but they will still be confident of qualifying for the tournament.
